While I was researching jewelry brand logos, I realized that most of the logos has ornaments included. So I wanted to do something different. I came across this DG, then I decided to do something related to typography as a symbol instead of adding extra elements.

Whenever you use the logo, it should be surrounded with live area to ensure it’s visibility and impact. No graphic elements of any kind should invade this zone. To work out this live area, take the height of the logo and divide it in quarter - Live Area = x/4 where x is the height of the logo. Wordmark - Live area = x/2 where x is the height of the logo. Min use = 0.5 inches of the height of the logo.

Color Palette

These colors are the primary or original brand colors used in the logo and most often seen in collaterals. These colors are the primal identity of the brand. Hue, saturation, and tints should not be added, which is against our brand standards. Purple and yellow are used as a combination to represent luxury. Purple is known as the royal color. Purple and yellow also represent boldness and confidence. This is primarily because of the effect of yellow. Yellow is known as a bold and cheerful color.

Typography

Since it’s a jewelery company, I felt like Luminari which is classified as calligraphy/black letter/Script is a good fit and communicates well with a luxurious jewelry brand. Bodoni 72 is elegant, sophisticated appearance characterized by extreme stroke contrast and ultra-thin hairlines is timeless.
